Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026.
These terms govern your use of Kerno Analytics (the "Service"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. This is a starting template, not a substitute for review by a lawyer — see the note at the end of this page.
1. Not investment advice
Kerno's 3-second takes, metric snapshots, key signals, and signal-scanner output (including BUY/HOLD/SELL labels and allocation percentages) are generated by an AI model from public filings and market data. They are informational only, are not investment, legal, or tax advice, and are not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. AI-generated analysis can be wrong, incomplete, or based on stale data. Kerno is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer, and using the Service does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a qualified professional before acting on anything the Service produces.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials confidential.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you select (monthly or annual) until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; Kerno does not store your card details. You can cancel from your Account page at any time — cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to scrape or resell underlying data at scale, attempt to bypass rate limits or plan limits, submit unlawful content, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
5. Data sources
Filing data originates from the SEC's public EDGAR system. Market data, where shown, comes from third-party providers and may be delayed. Kerno does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or analysis shown.
6. Intellectual property
Kerno retains all rights in the Service, its design, and its software. You retain rights in any content you submit, and grant Kerno a license to process it solely to provide the Service to you.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kerno is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any trading or investment losses arising from use of the Service.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. Kerno may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service.
9. Changes to these terms
We'll update the "last updated" date above if these terms change materially.

This is a template, not legal advice
Section 1's investment-advice disclaimer is the single most important clause on this page given what the product does — have a lawyer confirm it's worded correctly for your actual business structure and the jurisdictions you sell into before you rely on it with real paying customers.
